DESCRIPTION:Final details now available! Route map is available here if I’ve done that right. \nThe summer race is an informal club challenge organised by Matthew. This year we’re still on the shorter route because the bottom of Townend Gill is dangerously eroded and overgrown\, so: \n\nStart at Whicham Church steps\nCheckpoint at the main summit\nCheckpoint at the south summit (put your bearing in!)\nCheckpoint at White Stones\nCheckpoint on Sea Ness top cairn\nFinish at the Church again\n\nMatthew will flag the course on the afternoon of the race. The official start is 6:30 but there’s a 6:15 head start if you want it\, and you are welcome to run earlier or later and record your own time. \n(We start at the Church not the fell gate because a. course is quite short already and b. midges)
