Grippy shoes very much needed. Meet at the crossroads on top of Birker fell and run around the bumps.<\/p>\n<p>The BCR winter league is a series of small trail and fell races running most weekends through the winter (with a few gaps to make way for other events). They are informal and friendly, usually about 10k long, and with a staggered start designed to get everyone finishing roughly at the same time.
