The Giant’s Grave winter league race covers two laps of Tottlebank and Blawith Knott, starting on the Woodland road north of Great Burney. It’s a mixture of track, grass and winding footpaths suitable for all kinds of runner. Grippy shoes are needed.<\/p>\n
The BCR winter league is a series of small trail and fell races running most weekends through the winter (with a few gaps to make way for other events). They are informal and friendly, usually about 10k long, and with a staggered start designed to get everyone finishing roughly at the same time. Anyone is welcome to join us.<\/p>\n
At the end of the series each person is scored on their best four placements (1 point for first, etc).<\/p>\n
