Parking at grid reference SD 303 887, top of Bletherbarrow Lane, south of Coniston Water.
Reminder that runners should bring appropriate kit as recommended by the Fell Runners Association: appropriate footwear, waterproof whole body cover (with taped seams and integrated attached hood), hat, gloves and a whistle.
