Black Combe winterleague

The final race in the winter league is a blast straight up and down Black Combe from Whicham Church. There’s a good path all the way so it’s really just a hilly trail run, but we’ve had every possible kind of weather for this one. Any runner can do it, provided they have good shoes and a good coat.
The BCR winter league is a series of small trail and fell races running most weekends through the winter (with a few gaps to make way for other events). They are informal and friendly, usually about 10k long, and with a staggered start designed to get everyone finishing roughly at the same time. Anyone is welcome to join us.
At the end of the series each person is scored on their best four placements (1 point for first, etc).
